Unlike its shimmer siblings, this ink has no glitter, only sheen and shading. That makes it the easiest of the Obsidian trio to use in a fine nib and the one most suited to daily writing. The deep base shifts from near black to blue-black as it pools.

Best Uses

It is ideal for work notes, exam papers, journals and calligraphy where you want depth without sparkle. Give it a wider nib and slightly glossy paper to bring out the silver edges.

Filling and Care

Fill with a converter, piston or syringe, using the cork base to steady the glass bottle. The ink is gentle on nibs and suitable for dip pens as well. A quick rinse with clean water every few refills keeps the pen in good condition.
